Guerilla Art

November was the month of posting on my blog each day. I’ve decided December will be the month of guerilla art for me. Guerilla art? Yes, guerilla art.
I first stumbled onto the concept on the blog of author, illustrator and guerilla artist Keri Smith. She defines guerilla art as "any anonymous work […] installed, performed, […]

NaBloPoMo

Three days without posting.. So much for my NaBloPoMo challenge this year. Luckily, there’s always next year.
Last week I promised myself to go and see my GP if my cold hadn’t gone away by Monday. Well, it hadn’t. But instead of prescribing antibiotics, as I had expected, my doctor sent me to hospital straight away […]

Blessed are the cheesemakers *

Just the other day I was thinking about a show I used to watch as a teenager. The host went to the house of someone famous in the middle of the night, ringing their doorbell. When a sleepy head appeared out of the window, most of the time not looking amused, he´d hold up a […]

Road trip

A while ago I took my first road trip in Ireland. It was decided we’d go to Killarney. Because I used to watch an Australian series which featured a ranch called Killarney.

It was beautiful.

Blegh!

I have nothing, absolutely nothing, to write about today. I’ve been coughing my lungs out and even breathing hurts. I’ve decided that if all this isn’t over by Monday I’ll finally go and see my GP. Overheard in Dublin

Woman 1: "Hey! Are you…?" while gesturing towards […]

Day off

After only a couple of hours of sleep last night I’m surprised I’m still awake at this hour of the day. This and a very slow internet connection (yes, I’m one of those people without broadband or adsl, sadly, but hopefully this will be fixed soon) are the reasons for a day off in NaBloPoMo. […]

Daydreaming

After yesterday’s post, skiing’s been on my mind the whole weekend. Yesterday I got an invitation to go skiing in February and I really hope I can go. Until then I’ll have to make do with some photo’s I took during my skiing trip last winter.
