i don’t seem to know anyone who does cross stitch. its because the tecnology these days, people find the computer more interesting than crafts. please could you write perhaps a short paragraph on why you like cross stitching, so i can tell my friends that it can be enjoyable. thankyou!

I found a site where you can turn any image into a cross-stitch chart: http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro so I’m doing a portrait of my favorite musician. It’s fun and I find it very calming. I call it my occupational therapy.

I have shown friends before when they have sneered at my hobby, but when they see something come together and it resembles (I think art) they are really impressed and this often gets them interested.
