This is for a very nice lady who would like to commemorate her time in the navy and I’m really struggling to find one. Tried the craft stores and they don’t have any. Can someone point me in the right direction or share one they may have =]
I saw one at http://www.francaise1.narod.ru/
I found this link through Love Quilts Homepage, need a pattern link.
It brings up a set of folders. Look in the fourth folder down. Then click on the link next to the 4th picture. The 3rd picture is a white table cloth with blue ships on it. Hope this helps.

Lots of designs sorted by navy specialty – like aviation or supply – various planes, various navy bases, and so forth & so on.
I ran a search using "cross stitch, navy, and ship" as the key words. Adding anchor seems to confuse the search engine into looking for the brand name.
"Parts of ships" or "Maritime cross stitch designs", or "Nautical cross stitch" might give you some anchor designs – or the Navy Seal has an anchor in the middle………..as I recall!

First search including "nautical" showed this pattern booklet with a design of an anchor and signal flags on the front.
Marine seems to go for underwater and animal designs rather than ships & the navy.

when you visit the craft stores ask if they can order a kit or pattern for you they usally have a catalogue under the counter that you can look through i found out this after walking around enderless stores for a paticular dog pattern! also look through charity shops you will be amazed how many cross stitch things end up there
