So I sew plushies and make jewelry and im having a bit of an art block. My plushies are not normal teddy bears and stuff and im having issues coming up with an original idea. Can anyone give me out and give me some creative ideas on what to make. :) Thanks.

(Would like)
Plush
cross stitch
and charm
ideas.

ideas for plushies –
- sea creatures:
Octopus – with 8 arms, the kids will just love it ;-) )
dolphin, starfish, jellyfish, sea-anemone, shark, whale, ….
- land animals : elephant , giraffe, zebra, ….
- birds : parrot, peacock, tree-pie, kingfisher, ….
- fruits & vegetables
- cartoon, disney or animation characters – modify
- flowers : sunflower, …
- GADGETS : ipods, mobiles, CDs, book, block, …..
- Kitchen stuff – saucer, cup, bottle, mug, bowl (?), spoon, fork, knife, ….

i’ve listed the above keeping in mind the glorious colors &/or ‘appendages’ that accompany the main form [eg. trunk & tusks of elephant..] and will please or interest little kids.

you can use cross-stitch to incorporate the details & embellish.
if you want separate cross-stitch pattern ideas, you could use the above ones too?
similarly for charms, … outer space bodies will also look great – eg, planets, comets, stars, …

hope these inspire & get your creative juices flowing
all the very best & have fun :-) )

I can say it’s great to want to be unique, but sometimes we don’t get the best unique ideas by sitting in a room hard on concentration. Being open-minded is a great help. And sometimes, or rather often times, our most relaxed time is when our brain functions best. Try taking a little break from your thoughts and enjoy a bit. Just have open eyes and an open mind. A museum is a great place for ideas, or simply ask children. They have innocent minds that may think of simple ideas but when elaborated, becomes great!
