This is the minimum and will only sit on top of the bed - if you want the throw to hang over the edges, you would need to make another 84 squares which would give you a 30cm overhang on all sides. I'm an american, so my experience with metric is pretty skimpy. To cover a double bed that would be like 4 feet by 6 or seven feet, right? or 130x200 or 230 cm. or 8x12 squares, which is 96 squares.
