Right. Here’s 7 odd facts about me:

1. I’d love to take Bollywood dance classes. Since spending a year in India I’m crazy about Bollywood movies. It’s a combination of the music, the colourful costumes, the dances and the plots. Given my total lack of rythm I haven’t plucked up the courage yet, but who knows, maybe one day I will…

2. Living in Ireland is the 5th time that I spent 6 months or longer in another country in the past 10 years. When I go back home, the first thing people ask me is when I”ll be packing my suitcases again. I always reply that I plan on staying and settling down for a while, but as it turns out, I’m not too good at that.

3. I have a turtle named Napoleon. I’ve had him for over 12 years now and given the fact that turtles can reach the age of 40 or even more, I think we’ll be together for years and years to come.

4. I buy a book a week. On average, that is. Sometimes a week will pass without buying any books, but then I’ll make up for it the week after by buying 6. I don’t like going to the library. I want to have the books I read, so I can read them again and again and again whenever I want.

5. My boyfriend and I met here in Ireland. It’s crazy that we didn’t meet before, since we’re not only from the same country, but studied at the same university, took the same courses at the same time and even have mutual acquaintances. Even now, more than a year later, we’re still discovering we know the same people and hung out at the same places without ever meeting each other.

6. I like the idea of yoga and healthy living. I would love to be able to touch my knees with my nose. I can’t. Sometimes I actually take my hip pink yoga mat out of it’s cover and lie on it, but that’s about as much excercise as it gets. I really should start practicing again..

7. I don’t like to wear anything when I’m sleeping. Frequently when I’m in bed I hope the fire alarm won’t go off that night (any night, for that matter). I wonder what would happen if it did. I mean, would I have enough time to put some clothes on before getting out? I’m sure I’m not the only person not wearing pj’s, so how do other people deal with this dilemma?
