Inviting Harmony
Do you remember what it felt like the first time you walked into your home? Before you even moved there, the first time you entered it during a viewing or so? Did you feel like the house was welcoming you? That you stepped into a home instead of a house?
Last year around this time, Marc and I were looking for a place to live together. We’d viewed a number of apartments already and I couldn’t imagine us living in any single one of them, the next being even more horrible than the previous one. Until I saw an ad that had been placed online literally minutes ago. I called straight away and made an appointment for the same evening. We were the first people there, a few minutes early. As we rang the doorbell, the next couple walked up the driveway. Stepping into the apartment Marc and I looked at each other. The place wasn’t very big, but it’s Dublin, who can afford a big apartment? We knew this was it, this was where we wanted to live. The fake fireplace was switched on, welcoming us in, and everything looked well cared for. It felt like this apartment was embracing us, like it promised to take care of us. We signed the rental agreement straight away and moved 4 days later.
Lately the feeling of our home had changed. It felt stale and restless and not at all like the home we entered almost a year ago. So yesterday we performed a house purification, cleaning up the stagnant energy residues and inviting harmony and positive energyinto our home. Now it feels like our home again, welcoming and warm and loving.
